Updates:

The Central Avenue Bridge deck replacement project is approaching another significant milestone. Construction teams are finalizing the last tasks of Stage 2, paving the way for the transition to Stage 3. This marks the completion of work related to the main bridge section. 

This next phase involves shifting northbound traffic to the newly built eastern section of the bridge and opening up both lanes to traffic for a majority of the project limits. Traffic will need to be limited to one lane in each direction at the northern and southern limits to allow for final work to be completed along the median for Stage 3. Following this traffic switch, temporary pavement at crossovers will be removed, medians will be restored and all remaining work will be completed to open all lanes of traffic in final configuration.

Stage 3 will begin on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 and is targeted to be completed in August 2025.
